Deputy Chug Patrollers is the eighteenth episode of the fourth season.

Plot

Wilson, Brewster, and Koko are all given a day off from their duties which they plan to spend together. They have their work gear removed at the repair shed. Koko and Brewster are very excited as Wilson has some activities planned. Meanwhile, Chatsworth is working on a set for a new Action Chugger movie. Wilson, Brewster, and Koko start by feeding the monkeys and having a food fight with them. Next, Wilson takes them to the Roundhouse Ride-In to play on and Action Chugger Simulator. Wilson doesn't have anything else planned, so they go to the Action Chugger Movie set. But they aren't allowed in. However, when Chatsworth gets stuck in a tunnel, Koko and Brewster become Deputy Chug Patrollers and assist Wilson in getting him out. When they take Chatsworth's loads for him, they are allowed in the set, and the trainees say it is the best day ever!

• Going by production order, this is the seventeenth episode of the fourth season.
• The shot of Brewster and Koko going into the yellow tunnel is later on recycled in the Discover Chuggington: All Aboard! short, The Roundhouse Song; albeit with Wilson in Brewster's place. Additionally, the scene of Wilson, Brewster and Koko tossing fruit at the Safari Park is later on recycled in Wilson's Song.
• This episodes mark the first for a few things:
  • The first time since the first season episode, Jet Pack Wilson where the flight simulator is used.
  • The first non-speaking role of Jackman.
  • The first time since the first season episode, Koko Takes Charge to feature three writers.

• The blue lining beneath Wilson's first window is miscoloured white on several occasions throughout the episode.
• Two sections of Wilson's lining swap colours at one point before he and Brewster couple up to Chatsworth's car.
